DR VERONICA GVENTSADZE

Dr Veronica graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2008 and worked in a "mixed" (canine and feline) practice for two years, finally succumbing to her long-time passion for cats and deciding to devote her career to feline medicine.

She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her interest in optimal nutrition for animals both healthy and sick won her a graduation award named after Buddy, a dog with kidney disease who inspired Hills pet food company to develop the first veterinary medical diets.

She shares her home with two cats, Bunny and Matisse.

LESLIE JONES - Receptionist

Leslie was born and raised in Victoria, recently moved to the mainland. Graduated from Vancouver Career College - Victoria Campus in April of 2006 as a VOA. Her family consists of : husband      (Dave), 2 daughters ( Lindsay and Bailee), a son (Evan) 10 cats (one daughter moved home with hers and 1 of the dogs) and 2 dogs. When away from work she is  very busy with her youngest daughter Bailee and Sage (a Jack Russell puppy) and Bryn a young doberman.

TARA SCHNEIDER - Veterinary Office Assistant

I was born in British Columbia and from the time I was very small I always wanted to work in an  animal hospital.  When I was in high school I discovered courses that enabled you to do this so as soon as I  graduated from school I took the course and was lucky enough to be offered a job before completion of the course.  I then discovered Cats at Home and feel I have found a home for me!  I have six cats, two large dogs and one duck; all live with me in my basement suite!

ROSEMARIE CREES - Veterinary Office Assistant

Rosemarie grew up in the Langley area and always knew she wanted to work and help animals. After graduating from West Coast College in March of 2008 as a VOA she joined our team. In her spare time Rosemarie loves spending time with her husband, family and friends, either camping, movies or spending time at home. She has 1 dog (Kiya) and 1 cat (Vada) both of whom she loves very much but now live with her parents. Rosemarie and Spenser adopted Blu last year, one very cute kitty.

KELSIE BUTTERWORTH - Veterinary Office Assistant

Our clients will get to meet Kelsie over the summer months as she is spending time with Cats at Home before returning to college.

Kelsie was born in Langley and spent her childhood "living" with animals.  She originally decided to pursue a career in fine arts hoping to attain a

Bachelors degree with a Major in art history. But the "best laid plans" didn't materialize as Kelsie was lucky enough to start a career with the Ford

Modeling agency and went for the road less travelled!  But again Keslie did a 180° turn and now holds a Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant and is currently

studying pre-vet at the University of the Fraser Valley. We all wish her continuing luck in this endeavor.

Kelsie has three small fur people - "Rocket Dog" for whom she has been the guardian for 6 years .

The kittens have just entered her life.  "Eureka" (Devon Rex kitty) & "Diesel" (a Domestic Shorthair kitty)
