Wellness programs (kitten and adult)
Our Cats at Home Wellness Programs are designed to address your cat’s health as they age through screening tests (commonly called blood and chemistry testing). We also investigate viral status when appropriate to ensure that there is no hidden issues with their health. We check additional aspects of their health such as blood pressure, complete blood profile (both red and white cells), urinalysis, kidney function, and all organ function tests (comprehensive diagnostic tests). We may also check the thyroid function to ensure that it is not affecting your cats wellbeing. Along with our physical exam report we will give you a printed copy of the test results so that you can monitor how well your kitty is doing. Our staff will review all test results with you and give you time to ask any questions that may arise relating to the ongoing health and care of your cat.
Infectious disease control and vaccine programs
Vaccinations are a fundamental pillar in any form of preventive healthcare, and it’s no different for your cat. We provide advice for appropriate comprehensive vaccination and disease control programs for cats and kittens of all ages.

INTENSIVE CARE PROGRAM FOR SICK CATS
When your cat becomes very sick they usually try to hide their problem until it becomes unbearable for their regular behaviour. Older cats tend to develop more than one problem as they age and so present with complex medical conditions that require intensive diagnostic investigation. Cats at Home works with you to uncover the complex issues and help you to address each problem based on the severity of the sickness as it affects your cats health. We analyse conditions such as Advanced Diabetes, Feline Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Heart problems and Kidney dysfunction. Our doctor will consult with you to explain the treatment protocols appropriate for these conditions to help your kitty recover. We also investigate complex feline dermatological conditions and food allergy sensitivities to relieve those medical conditions that make kitties very uncomfortable.
